China Radio International-CRI and Roots Millennium Schools RMS, with a view to promote the cultural relationship between China and Pakistan and to forge cooperation between the two organizations, are promoting Chinese and Urdu Languages for the benefit of both Pakistan and China. The single common barrier of language between our great nations now being transformed to new heights of opportunity discovery and diversity, where now 8500 students of Roots Millennium Schools, Pakistan are learning Chinese Language course on a full-time basis as part of their structured academic study plan and language curriculum from Grade 3 to 8. Millennium CRI Confucius Classroom Programme curriculum and Chinese language teaching in Pakistan initiative has created a new vista of opportunities for the youth on both sides of the border. Roots Millennium CRI Confucius Classroom Programme designed a specific and professional Chinese curriculum for Root Millennium Schools students from Grade 3 to Grade 8. In order to improve students’ comprehensive abilities to listen, speaking, reading and writing, the Chinese Language Class is operated two periods a week. Students from Grade 3 to Grade 6 learn YCT Standard Course 1 2 & 3, while students in Grade 7 and Grade 8 learn HSK Standard Course 1& 2. Students can participate in YCT(Youth Chinese Test) or HSK(Chinese Proficiency Test) after completing the relative courses.

• YCT registration form must be duly filled out by the parent in capital letters.
• CNIC number of the Parent (either father or mother) must be filled in the form and a clear copy of the CNIC must be attached.

• Put a tick in the right box for the YCT level exam that the child is appearing for.
• YCT registration form must be filled out and sent within the mentioned deadline.

HSK is an international standardized test of best Chinese Language course in Pakistan proficiency, which evaluates the abilities of middle year school students to use the Chinese language in their daily lives. The Chinese Language HSK-1 textbook that is being introduced in grade VII will develop the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills of your child. Students can develop their knowledge of Chinese culture through the provided course and other activities during the academic session.

The HSK is an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic, and professional lives. HSK consists of six levels, namely HSK (level I), HSK (level II), HSK (level III), HSK (level IV), HSK (level V), and HSK (level VI). The HSK course is introduced in grade 7 and grade 8 as a compulsory subject.

Test takers will receive the results for the new HSK issued by Hanban within one month after the test.
