Being an IB MYP authorized school, we have upgraded our school facilities to cater to the needs of our students, currently, we are a state-of-the-art, and purpose-built campus. We have a highly qualified, IB DP-trained teaching faculty which supports our comprehensive approach to international education.

There is no clear definition of the word baccalaureate, yet it is an increasingly important concept in educational philosophy and curriculum design.  This definition is offered by the Anglo European School;

A Baccalaureate Programme is an educational experience that is broad (involving all major subject disciplines); balanced (in that specialisation is deferred or avoided) and coherent (with clear values, learner outcomes and themes which add relevance to subject study).  The programme adds up to more than the sum of its parts and provides for the rounded education of the student.

Learning is concurrent to enable connections to be made and the programme is founded on a very clear set of values.  A baccalaureate will also contain a core of learning common to all learners which could include individual research, an element of study skills, work experience/internship and an opportunity to demonstrate service above self.  The core provides an opportunity for learning to be applied as well as to deepen understanding and enrich learning itself.

Where appropriate, assessment is rigorous and based on agreed criteria which are not subject to change other than as part of periodic systematic review.

The Millennium Education, One World campus, is the only authorized IB-MYP school in the northern region of Pakistan. The school aspires to serve as the most integral block that works as a bridge between the PYP (Primary Year Programme) and the DP (Diploma Programme) of the International Baccalaureate. The MYP-V is the class that marks the culmination of the entire Middle Years Programme by serving itself as an intricate link to Diploma Programme. The focal point of “Teaching and Learning” is to infuse subliminally pragmatic and critically evolved academic learning that shapes an individual who is comfortably eligible to undertake the global challenges and thoroughly exude educational and personality grooming.

One World Campus provides students with a new learning experience where technology blends seamlessly into a modern broad-based curriculum, facilitated by fully equipped classrooms and IT suits. Teachers combine quality teaching practices with the increasingly available contemporary education technologies to create a student-centered, flexible and self-paced approach to learning

We believe education is more about learning than about teaching, more about the students than the teachers.

The MYP programme consists of eight subject groups integrated through global contexts that provide a framework for learning within and across the subjects. Students are required to study two languages, usually their mother tongue a second language, humanities, sciences, mathematics, arts, physical education and design. In the final year of the programme, students also engage in a personal project, which allows them to demonstrate the understandings and skills they have developed throughout the programme.

IB MYP is recognized by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), however, there are still a few professional colleges (especially the state medical and engineering ones) that require students to have taken Cambridge International Examination (CIE) of Urdu, Islamiyat, and Pakistan Studies to obtain an equivalence certificate to gain admission. To meet this requirement, the syllabus of CIE Urdu, Islamait &Pakistan Studies will be introduced in Term 1 of MYP- II. These subjects will continue throughout MYP- III and  MYP- IV till all IB MYP students appear for the CIEs in May/June Session.


The Millennium Education is an authorized IB school offering Middle Years Programme (MYP) in its One World Campus, E-11/4 Islamabad. The IB philosophy emphasizes:

  • Awareness of the similarities and differences among many cultures, understanding issues on an international scale, and responsible citizenship.
  • The inter-relatedness of various disciplines and issues.
  • A “Socratic” (question-and-answer) form of achieving knowledge in the classroom
  • Student-centered inquiry and communication
  • Research suggests many benefits to choosing the Diploma Programme. The programme aims to develop students who have breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.

Core is an integral part of the DP student’s pre-university experience. The extended essay and theory of knowledge course contributes up to three points to the overall diploma score. The three core elements are:

  1. Theory of knowledge, in which students reflect on the nature of knowledge and on how we know what we claim to know.
  2. The extended essay, which is an independent, self-directed piece of research, finishing with a 4,000-word paper.
  3. Creativity, activity, service, in which students complete a project related to those three concepts.

Extended Essay is an in-depth study of a focused topic chosen from the list of approved DP subjects-normally one of the student’s six chosen subjects or in World Studies. Both are intended to promote high-level research and writing skills, intellectual discovery and creativity, engaging students in a personal research in a topic of their own choice, under the guidance of a supervisor (a teacher in the school).
