My Dear Parents & Learners,

As we near 30 years of academic excellence – more than one quarter of a century, Roots Millennium Schools today is synonymous with ‘academic excellence’, ‘student achievement’, ‘social entrepreneurship’, ‘opportunity’ and ‘discovery’ for students, parents, teachers and community. Learners who study here are passionate about their subjects, qualifications and are dedicated to expanding their knowledge of the world around them. In the sphere of college education, Roots Millennium Schools remains a place that dares to be a little different. It is our academic focus and personal attention to each and every learner that makes us distinct. For nearly 30 years; three decades, we have sponsored educational change, opportunity, achievement, excellence and excitement across schools, communities, towns, cities through our learner centered education system. Roots Millennium Schools today is beyond education and schooling; it is changing the national & global education paradigm through its award winning curriculum, beyond the classroom teaching and learning initiatives, enhanced teaching & learning programmes, teacher training programmes, qualifications, results, achievements, thus promoting social change and community re-engineering.

The world is changing dramatically and the culture that makes Millennials different is now more relevant than ever before. Creativity has made Millennial’s an innovator in so many fields, but we recognize that at the heart of our creative culture is the ability to thrive in a complex and ever changing classroom environment. For this we have set on sail to create ‘Roots Millennium Schools’ to promote skills, values, knowledge, digital literacy, community service and active global citizenship thus sponsoring entrepreneurial opportunity for learners, teachers and communities on our core pedagogical values, award winning school curriculum and teacher training eco systems.

As we see and hear the phrase “21st century” almost everywhere, the term has become so ubiquitous that it has lost much of its impact or meaning. However, the dramatic impact of the ongoing technological revolution that ushered in the 21st century is only growing. It is changing our world, the context on which our students live and learn today, is in more dramatic ways with each new development. Today’s learners live in a world that is extremely fast-paced, constantly changing, increasingly culturally diverse, technologically driven, and media-saturated. We cannot continue to deliver a 20th century, scientific-management, factory-model education. This changing paradigm of the 21st century requires that we redefine “education”, “school”, “curriculum”, “teacher” and the “learner”. It requires that we provide an education designed to help our students truly succeed. So what is 21st century education? It is bold. It breaks the mold. It is flexible, creative, challenging, and complex. It addresses a rapidly changing world filled with fantastic new problems as well as exciting new possibilities. The new millennium was ushered in by a dramatic technological revolution, so to keep pace with changing paradigm in academia, I have founded and envisioned the new generation schools now referred as the one and only ROOTS MILLENNIUM SCHOOLS.

Millennium Schools is born out of my blazing passion for reformation of classroom education as today, it promotes and refers the child who study here as ‘millennial’ at our campuses nationwide, it aims to help sponsor change across our teaching and learning practices, thus bridging the excellence and achievement divide. At Millennium Schools we give you every opportunity to stretch yourself intellectually and socially. We have a superb learning environment and beyond the classroom learning activities focusing on each learner’s individual needs and portfolio development thus scaling opportunities for a successful University application or a community engagement programme. The Millennium environment provides a perfect balance of learning and getting away from it when you need to. We are confident that Millennium experience is special and very fulfilling tailored to each community’s personal need and culture. The Millennium Prospectus will give you an insight into our world.
