World Science Day for Peace and Development 2020

World Science Day for Peace and Development was observed on 10th November 2020 at One World Campus, E-11/4 Islamabad to create an awareness about the revolutionary changes that have occurred due to Science in our daily lives.

This day provides an exclusive platform for carrying out a debate and discussion on the benefits of Science and emerging issues. Through this day, it is also ensured that developments in the field of Science are shared with the citizens around the globe. As this year has been so uncertain and the world is struggling due to pandemic, this day has been themed as, “Science for and With Society”. 

 To observe this day, students of Grade 6 and 7 displayed their projects and shared the significance of Science in ensuring peace in our daily lives.


Beach Clean Up Drive by Millennium College Clifton, Karachi

Millennial Heroes – The Leaders of Future and Custodians of the Environment

Beaches are bridges between land and marine environments. Beaches are an important part of human life. However, these recreational activities can be halted only because of the worst conditions of our beaches due to the marine debris left at the beaches.

Roots Millennium College Karachi Campus Community Service Club conducted the Beach Cleanup activity in collaboration with the last earthlings on 7th November 2020. This activity inculcated the importance and awareness about the beaches among the masses of Karachi city. This great activity was appreciated by one of the prominent personalities of the world “Ms. Shaniera Akram”, the wife of Mr. Waseem Akram on social media with her appreciating words.

Teaching and Learning with Parents and Students – Future World School Bahria Town Rawalpindi Organized Phonics Workshop for Mothers of our little millennials.

Future World School Bahria Town Rawalpindi organized first-of-its-kind, Phonics workshop for the mothers of Early Years. This training workshop attracted a huge response and all the mothers of Advanced Years participated in it. Ms. Mehliqa Mubashir, section head of Early Years and a phonics trainer introduced the world of phonics to the parents and guided them through its various stages. This workshop stressed on the meaning & significance of phonics for advanced students and also emphasized on the importance of learning the various sounds of letter to improve their reading skills.

The session comprised of activities such as reading 3 letter words, identifying blends, sight words or tricky words, vowel digraphs and reading sentences, etc. The workshop also gave good tips on writing for students.

The Head Mistress also appreciated and congratulated the council members. She advised them to be the role models and extended a supporting hand to the students’ council for the smooth running of the school.
Parents were happy and delighted on learning in depth about phonics and its use. They praised the simple, engaging and interesting structure of the workshop. This workshop created a wave of genuine interest among parents about the use of phonics.


Debates and Declamation Contest at Notting Hill Campus located in the City of Soldiers – Jhelum

The Millennium Education Notting Hill Campus organized an Inter – House English Debates and Declamation Contest on November 7th, 2020. The aim of the competition was to enhance public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The speakers of Grade 1 till 8 of Millennial 4 houses ; Peace, Courage, Unity and Hope spoke eloquently on different issues related to Climate Change, Children Rights , Global Warming e.t.c. The participants speaking for both ‘for’ and ‘against’ the motion debated enthusiastically and Winners received Certificates of Appreciation.

The Investiture Ceremony at RMS Kingston Campus, G-15 Islamabad for the academic session 2020-21 was held today with the great pomp and dignity. The event was presided by the Head Mistress RMS Kingston Campus Ms. Bushra Shahzad with the Academic Team. It was conducted with the high degree of earnestness and passion.

The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. We believe that a child centric approach will frame a responsible citizens.

Universal Children`s Day 2020 Observance at Oxbridge Campus, Chakshehzad Islamabad

Universal Children’s Day is celebrated on 20th November everywhere to highlight the role children can play in making the world a safer and secure place for them to live. Making children aware of their rights is one of the ways of empowering them.

Investing in the children means investing in the future, TME Oxbridge Campus Chakshehzad, Islamabad observed Universal Children`s Day on 20th November to recognize the role children can play in changing the world and to secure their rights.

The purpose of the celebration was to give learners information about their rights and duties as active citizens of the world. This was taught to them by engaging them in different art.

UN Global Action Day – Greenwich learners experience the nature at their school

Every year on 10th November, people observe “World Science Day for Peace and Development” to highlight the important role of science in society and to engage the public in debates and discussions on emerging scientific issues.

Early Years Millennials of Greenwich Campus celebrated the day by pondering on scientific concepts that are spread around them through a nature walk and sharing their ideas about how they can ensure peace at their level by looking after the living things in the nature. Whereas, Millennial Primary Years were indulged in sharing their ideas of a developed world keeping in view the scientific advancement through a poster making competition.


Little Millennials of Regents Park Campus D-18 celebrated the colour week in November

With red, orange, yellow and some green, the blue, indigo and violent, can be seen.

At Regents Park Campus D-18 Islamabad, Colour Week was observed with little millennials from 2nd – 13th November 2020 as a means to identify colours. Learners were engaged in different activities from coloring worksheet to hands on activities.

Early Years Leaners wore colour dress every day throughout these two weeks to share the joy. Early identification of colours helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child’s holistic development.  According to Wassily, “Color is a power that directly influences the soul”. The learners were excited and happy seeing different color objects and balloons. The celebration continued for two weeks whereas   learners participated in colouring actives each day. The students prepared rhymes of each colour for singing as well. Colouring week was introduced to Early Years Learners as the “Colours of Love and Happiness”.

Microsoft Global Learning Connection Skypeathon @ Mayfair Campus, I-8/4 Islamabad Nurturing the 21st-century skills – Open Hearts and Open Minds

TME Mayfair always provide its learners unique learning opportunities to harness their skills and keep them abreast with other learners and educators around the world. For the same reason, Students of Grade 5 and 6 participated enthusiastically in an online event Microsoft Global Learning Connection (Skypeathon) 2020 on 10th November, 2020. A perfect opportunity for nurturing the 21st-century skills in the learners and encourage connected learning with the theme “Open Hearts and Open Minds”.

They attended a session with Ms. Douha Jemai from Tunisia (North Africa) in which she talked about ‘Climate Change’ and other SDG Activities. Our students participated live in different activities like Comic Reading and Kahoot Quiz and won positions among hundreds of attendees from all over the world. Indeed, a proud moment for TME Mayfair Campus.

Tribute to Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Shair –E- Mashriq by Millennials of Trafalgar Campus, F-7 Islamabad

The month of November was dedicated to Dr. Allama Muhammad to pay homage to our poet of the East at TRAFALGAR campus F-7/1. A series of activities were carried out to inculcate the thinking and philosophy of our poet who always encouraged the youth to step forward for the vigorous establishment of peace and harmony within themselves and in the society and nation.

To mark the contribution and life of great philosopher and poet Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Millennials presented a colourful and captivating programme that inculcated Kalam-e-Iqbal,

Tableau and Mushaira.

Tableau on famous poem “MAKRA AND MAKHI” was presented by grade 1.

Tableau on famous poem “PARINDAY KI FARYAD” was presented by the students of grade 2.

Tableau on famous poem “LAB PE AATI” was presented by grade 3 learners.

Inter House Charity Bake Sale – Roots Punjab Dhaba, Shahi Tarka – Desi Jhatka

A charity bake sale was organized by students & teachers of Future World School & College DHA Phase 6, Lahore by Social action & Volunteerism Society, Entrepreneur Society & Girls up society to raise funds for a charitable cause. Students brought in home cooked food and sold them under complete SOPs, the purchases were made by students from Early years till A-levels, the donations collected were nearly PKR 80,000 which will be donated to SOS villages to help underprivileged children. Certificate distribution & trophy was given at the end to the winning house & all participants were awarded certificate of participation. The event was successfully ended with lots of memories, pictures & sweet moments.
