Keeping its legacy, The Millennium Education celebrated its Annual Edexcel High Achievers and International Award Ceremony on Friday, January 20. 2023. at Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad. Jubilance and celebration defined the aura of this auspicious ceremony, where more than 1000 proud learners were awarded Edexcel Achievement Awards, Edexcel Progression Awards, IBIC, IKLC, IKMC and IKSC certificates, along with many other national and international awards such as: medals and certificates for The World Scholars Cup; Commonwealth Essays; German and Chinese language proficiency tests; English Debates; Microsoft Imagine Cup- Artificial Intelligence Hackathon; Robotics; Rock Climbing Competition and many others from all across the country.
While addressing the session the Chief Executive of The Millennium Education (TME) Dr. Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq TI talked about the rich history of TME that spans over a period of 35 years. He highlighted a multitude of initiatives that have been introduced and successfully implemented in The Millennium Education. His discourse revolved around stimulating our youth and bringing out the best in them, equipping them with the skills of decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity. We need to create classrooms as safe spaces for students with different aptitudes, abilities, and interests, so they may be able to realize their potential to the fullest. We should also equip our youth with the necessary knowledge and skills so they may meet the challenges of a fast-changing world and become lifelong practitioners. He further elaborated that humanity of teaching profession is non-negotiable and a successful school is the one where one -year growth with one year of input is ensured for every child. He concluded his conversation by giving a point to ponder: Are schools an extension of home or are homes an extension of schools?
The event brought together bright learners, their hardworking role models- the teachers, administration, and content parents to celebrate their outstanding achievements and to motivate them to continue hard work and to strive for future successes. The winners in different domains of academics represent extraordinary skills, endless hours of hard work and dedication through study and practice, and an unflagging spirit of learning.
The ceremony was a melting pot of education and recreation where the learners mesmerized the audience with astounding performances. A variety of skits, cultural dances, learner performances, recognition of teachers’ achievements, added charm to the gala. The enthralling performance on the seventeen Sustainable Goals was much appreciated by the parents. It showed TME’s commitment to make its learners global citizens. The brilliance of learners, both at national and international level, was honored and acknowledged on a grand scale.
The Millennium Education believes in going the extra mile by cherishing its tradition of breaking records and making history of holistic academic excellence. It will continue to serve the education sector with the aim to contribute well-groomed, educated youth for a prosperous Pakistan. The institution has all the reasons to celebrate the High Achievers Ceremony, to acknowledge the endeavors of its learners.
